A More Effective Crossover Dribble

By far the most popular dribble move in basketball, the crossover dribble has transcended the game of basketball. Tune in to ESPN or type crossover in youtube and you will be delighted with a variety of ankle breaking plays. The crossover is now an international weapon and today I am going to show you how to make your crossover more effective.

Here are my keys to an explosive crossover dribble:

Stay Low
Step in the direction you want the defender to anticipate
Explode in the opposite direction
Keep crossover tight and below the knee

crossover dribble is a guaranteed must for any aspiring basketball player wishing to excel at the guard position. However, it is also a valuable asset for all the other positions, and if a "big man" can make a crossover move, look out!
